Just days after the UK experienced the hottest day of the year so far, temperatures are about to soar again reaching heights of 41C thanks to an Iberian heatwave
The UK has just enjoyed its hottest day of the year so far with scorching temperatures reaching highs of 34.8C - and there’s more on the way. On Monday, Cambridge recorded temperatures that reached almost 40 degrees. And already sun-seekers have turned their attention towards the upcoming forecasts to see when the scorching temperatures will return - and there's not long to wait.
By Friday afternoon and into the evening, much of the Southern part of England is set to experience temperatures around 24-25 degrees. London and Norwich are two of the warmest locations in the country. Northern cities, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds are also set to have temperatures around 26 degrees next weekend.
