However, a stark travel warning has been issued over a growing threat of pickpockets targeting holidaymakers at the popular Spanish resort.
He said people need to be "very careful" in certain neighbourhoods, and some spots he flagged as being "dodgy", specifically advising against solo travel there. With over 2,000 views on TikTok, the message clearly resonated, sparking a flurry of responses from concerned members of the public. Some expressed how the escalating issue has deterred their future travel plans to the destination.
There were personal accounts too, as one individual recounted: "I got chased by two muggers while walking back to my hotel on my own one night there." One more chimed in with: "It's not safe. Don't say it is."
