Bernardo Silva offered an honest view on what is going wrong at Manchester City, while appearing to criticise his defensive teammates for allowing Sporting to take control of their Champions League clash.
Bernardo Silva admits the Manchester City dressing room is in a dark place as he appeared to take aim at his defensive teammates for their performance at Sporting.
Bernardo used his post-match interview to lay down some home truths to his teammates - telling them to improve quickly or City will struggle to be successful this season. He also seemingly criticised the defence for Sporting's quickfire goals just after half time, and told his injured teammates to get back to fitness as quick as possible.
"It's disappointing, we're in a dark place and everything looks to be going in the wrong way. Even playing well we don't score our chances and concede too easily. We need to look inside at what we're not doing well and start being better very quickly. Otherwise it will be difficult to come back from these losses."
