Ms Cross, a member of the Future Fund Board of Guardians and a director of Transurban, was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia , recognised for “significant service to business, to the finance industry, and to corporate governance”. “I think it is more of a country, irrespective of where you come from, you value having everyone contribute and make a contribution. I think that the business community is not perfect, but it is doing a pretty good job.”
Mr Moore said he was honoured by the award, and felt very fortunate to be part of great institutions and Australian public life.
