Sam Byram returned to Leeds United this summer after a seven-year absence and he has given verdict on the Whites' start to the season under Daniel Farke
Sam Byram hopes the end of the summer transfer window coupled with the emphatic win at Millwall can kickstart Leeds United's season. The Whites recorded only their second league victory so far with a comfortable 3-0 win at the Den on Sunday.
Byram returned to Leeds following a seven-year absence and was one of a string of arrivals as Farke rebuilt the squad following relegation. The likes of Jack Harrison, Robin Koch, Luis Sinisterra and Max Wober departed on initial loan deals, while Tyler Adams and Rodrigo were among those to seal permanent exits.Byram feels the end of the transfer window should now give Farke's squad the stability they require to get their promotion bid up and running.
"I think we've done well to pick up the results we had with so much change going on, but now we've got a really strong squad and a really strong group that are 100% committed to the goal. I think this win should hopefully kick us on in that direction."
