But the company confirmed there is a way you can still get your hands on the chocolate
The chocolate giant told the ECHO they have axed their individual 'Treatsize' packs of milk chocolate buttons, a go-to choice for many parents, snackers and anyone with a sweet tooth. But they won't be disappearing altogether as they will still appear in multipacks.
A spokesperson from Mondelez International, who owns Cadbury, said: “We continuously adapt our product range to ensure it meets changing tastes whilst supporting growth for our customers and our business. Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons are available in a variety of pack sizes including 40g and 119g bags."Our Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons Treatsize packs will no longer be as individual bags, but will continue to be available in multipack format and will also be part of our Christmas range.
The fact that the product isn't completely disappearing will be good news for many who love the treat-sized chocolate, but in the past, some haven't been so lucky. Last week we looked back at some of the chocolate bars we have lost over the years. The list included some of Cadbury's classics, such as Dream bars, Fuse bars and a number of former stars of the Roses tins. You can see our list here.
