Residents near Padstow have had their water supply disrupted for weeks.
An MP has called on the chief executive of South West Water to consider her position after thousands have been left without water.in the St Eval area since 19 July.
A SWW spokesperson said: "We had some delay in getting the reservoir back into service following essential, unplanned work - we are refilling it now and hope to get it back into service as soon as possible." They continued: "In the meantime, we are successfully meeting customer demand through tankers with now minimal impact on customers and businesses, however we are sorry for any disruption this has caused."The Liberal Democrat MP added: "I have today called on Susan Davy, the chief executive, to consider her position very, very seriously.Owners Victoria and Trevor Vercoe described the situation as "shocking".
