The head teacher of James Aiton Primary said that they are the first school in South Lanarkshire to receive the award.
James Aiton Primary School in Cambuslang have been gifted an award for their efforts in promoting anti-bullying.
On Friday, Lorraine Glass from Respect Me joined Karen Reilly from South Lanarkshire Council and head teacher Julie Ogilvie to present the school with the Respect Me Award. Alongside this, the school received a £1000 donation from a local Nisa store through their Making A Difference Locally charity to James Aiton Primary’s Give or Take Shed.Julie added: “We are grateful to have been awarded £1000 to help us replenish and maintain our school's 'Give or Take' Shed, which provides a valuable accessible foodbank to all our families who may find themselves in need.” And did you know Lanarkshire Live had its own app?
