Clase has had a remarkable season, posting 46 saves in 49 chances with a 0.63 ERA and 0.631 WHIP. In 71 1/3 innings, he has logged 64 strikeouts and walked just eight while ranking in the 99th percentile in both pitching run value and fastball run value. His cutter has dominated opposing batters to the tune of a .153 batting average against and his slider is limiting hitters to a .136 mark.
