Multiple emergency services, including police and firefighters, descended on Barrhead Road at around 7pm following the crash which resulted in a fire. Footage seen by Glasgow Live shows the road cordoned off while firefighters put out the blaze. One of the drivers, a 19-year-old man, was rushed to hospital for treatment before being arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
