A former Coronation Street star, who now stars in Casualty appeared to compare the TV shows after hinting at a return to the popular ITV soap, despite an exit two years ago
Casualty star Melanie Hill took a swipe at Coronation Street , just days after hinting at making a shock return. The actress, 62, who has played the role of Siobhan McKenzie in the BBC medical drama since February, appeared on This Morning where she appeared to compare the two shows.
The soap star added: "This is what makes Casualty different to a soap, because we're involved with people having the worst day of their lives so the drama is ramped up immediately. Sharing the snap on her Instagram, Melanie captioned it: "Greetings from Scarborough. #RoyandCathy", while also tagging the soap's Instagram account. She added: "He's feeling much better! It's the sea air."
"I absolutely love everybody but it’s made me think about my family a lot and what the priorities are in my life."
