Police believe the men pictured could have important information
Two CCTV images have been released after two men were 'slashed' in the face in Stockport . Police have today released images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, which left two people seriously injured.
Officers were called out to St Petersgate, in Stockport, at around 12.30am on Friday, June 28. Greater Manchester Police received reports that two men had assaulted a group of three men opposite the casino on St Petersgate. GMP says the suspects used a bladed article, which caused significant facial injuries to two of the men. The pair were taken to hospital for treatment.Detectives have been investigating the incident in the months since the attack. Anyone who recognises the men pictured or has information on the incident is being urged to come forward.
A GMP spokesperson added: "Following extensive enquiries, officers have now released images of two men they would like to speak to, as it is believed they could help with the ongoing work." Information can be passed on to GMP online, by calling 101 or 0161 856 9790, quoting CRI/06JJ/0013368/24. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
