Christmas chocolate tubs of Quality Street, Roses and Celebrations are part of an unbeatable deal at Asda
The Christmas chocolate price wars have officially begun. Following Aldi's reduction in the price of Quality Street, Asda has now responded with its own offer, not only on the purple Nestle tubs but also on Roses and Celebrations tubs as well as Heroes and Swizzels.
For a limited three-day period, Asda has reduced the price of Quality Street, Celebrations, Heroes, Roses and Swizzels to just £2.50 per tub. However, there is a catch - you need to be a member of Asda Rewards, the supermarket's loyalty app scheme, to avail of the deal, and you must purchase two for £5.
Whether you're stocking up for Christmas or need some chocolates for Halloween, it's an excellent deal - usually, the tubs are two for £9. The offer starts today but ends on October 27, giving you just three days to claim it.Morrisons has also joined the price war, offering two tubs for £6, while Aldi has Quality Street for £3.89 per tub. But Asda's deal is currently the best on the market.
The Asda Rewards app also offers money back to spend in store on certain 'star products', as well as cashback on purchases made in specific sections - for example, spending a certain amount on baby food or fresh fruit. This year, Quality Street buyers may also notice a change, reports The Express. In addition to paper wrappers, Tesco will also be using paper tubs in a bid to promote sustainability.
