Brendan Rodgers is yet to kick off his summer spending but fans are anticipating a big summer.
Raging Al-Ittihad chiefs are reportedly "welcoming" offers for misfit Jota amid speculation in Saudi that he could make a return to Celtic.
After being drafted back into the squad in January he still faced an injury-hampered campaign in the Middle East managing just 25 appearances last term. Time now appears to be up for Jota at Ittihad after fans reacted angrily the attacker cleared the clip of his Ittihad unveiling from his Instagram page. The only video clip now left on the page is his emotional farewell to Celtic last summer.
Ittihad will now "wait" for new proposals before making a final decision on his future. Speculation has ramped up in Saudi that Brendan Rodgers could make a move for the star. Boss Oliver Glasner is hoping to recoup a fee north of £20million, report London World. This will be used to "bring a new face to push" first-choice Jean-Philippe Mateta "to the next level."
