Celtic are reportedly chasing a deal for American midfielder Tanner Tessmann while Brendan Rodgers and his team are in the States.
So far, new names in the engine room have been hard to come by - but the latest from Italy is Celtic are chasing highly-rated USA cap Tessmann. The 22-year-old was a standout for Venezia in Serie B last season and Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Hoops have joined Brentford, as well as Italy's Torino, Parma and Como in the race for the midfielder.
Celtic fans will be able to watch him at the Olympic Games this summer where he will captain a youthful American side in Paris. Before making a move to Parkhead? Quite possibly if Di Marzio is on the money.
