The Hoops snapped up the midfielder from MK Dons under former boss Ange Postecoglou and he has been a real find for the Scottish champions. The former Rangers defender and radio pundit is a huge fan.
Craig Moore reckons Celtic will struggle keep hold of Matt O'Riley and he will go on to land the club a huge fee down the line.
Brendan Rodgers is now in the door at Celtic after taking over the hot seat for a second stint in charge. He's got off the mark with two Scottish Premiership wins in his first two games with the League Cup defence beginning this weekend on the road at Kilmarnock. O'Riley has started both games so far and netted in both with two excellent finishes. The Celtic midfielder came into discussion by the Go Radio panel with Andy Walker alongside Moore in the studio.
Walker jumped in: "I don't that type of thing phases either the player or club. Celtic have been doing it for years. It is a model that works really well. Big players. Big personality players that you think Celtic can't do without. Well, actually they've shown they can replace them, get good money in and do good business. It's something that Rangers are lacking."
O'Riley himself as not set any targets for the season ahead in terms of numbers. He knows he should have ended the campaign with a higher tally last term and knows he should be finding the back of the net more - with a perfect start so far this campaign.
