Kazeem Olaigbe warns Brugge have 'much more' quality
Cocky Cercle Brugge hero Kazeem Olaigbe is writing off Kilmarnock's chances of going through in Europe as the wide man insists he is CERTAIN the Belgians will get the job done.
The former Ross County loanee gave the visitors a first-leg lead in the Europa League second qualifying round tie at Rugby Park. Killie head to Belgium for the return leg on Thursday. And the 21-year-old, who two years ago had a six-month spell with the Staggies, has utterly dismissed any chance of Derek McInnes' side of going through.
He said: "Of course we are favourites to advance. There is no need to doubt that for a moment. We have much more quality than them in the squad. Kilmarnock did put pressure on us, but we had most of the ball and did a lot of good things with it. This week when we are at home, we need to finish off our chances and then qualifying for the next round is a certainty. For me, it was great to score a goal because I really want to play more minutes this season at the club.
