Charlene Gonzalez finished the Boston Marathon 2023 and received a medal.
Charlene said encountered some Filipino fans who ran with her during the race for a while.
"Definitely one of the most hilly world major marathon I have done thus far but one of the most beautiful views and crowd support," she said. "Thank you to all the Filipinos who were out on the course and cheered me on. Mahal ko kayo. Several even ran with me for moments on the course to show support," she added.
Charlene was part of the team that ran for the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, which offers classes for youth, teens, and adults in the visual and performing arts.
