Emmerdale's Charley Webb says 'every day is a challenge' after 'lovely' mum diagnosed with Alzheimer's
Taking to Instagram on Sunday in an emotional Mother's Day post, the former Emmerdale star, 35, admitted "every day is a challenge" and added: "Even though she’s still here, I miss her."
"This last 8 years have been a learning curve, a grieving process and something all of her children have struggled with. Every day is a challenge and brings difficulties which are really hard to come to terms with. Charley's older brother, actor Jamie Lomas who plays Warren Fox in Hollyoaks, also shared a tribute post to his mum, as he said he "misses" her, even though she's "still here".
In his own heartfelt post, Jamie wrote: "In 2015 our beautiful mum was diagnosed with alzheimers and she was only 64. In 2017 I was lucky enough to be asked to go in the jungle and do @imacelebrity and I wanted to take my mum with me as my guest as I wanted us to have that amazing memory together and the ITV staff were absolutely brilliant.
