The handy tips have ben hailed as 'life changing' for people cooking in their kitchen.

Thinking about what to cook for dinner can be time consuming - but now you can cook one comforting food in just minutes - the humble jacket potato.

To start off with, according to the Mirror, the self-taught chef washed the potato to remove dirt. Once clean, he used a fork to pierce holes all over it. After this, he microwaved it for five minutes, before turning it over and microwaving for another five minutes. He explained: "Then you end up getting this diagonal cut pattern. That's how to make a baked potato in 10 minutes with even butter distribution."

Fans were quick to praise the method, with many calling it a "game changer". One TikToker commented: "I love it. Total game changer," while a second said: "OMG!!! I love it."
