The 4-year-old was found by a member of the public standing near a road without shoes on.
A four-year-old child was found wandering barefoot in Bridge of Weir after leaving a local nursery unnoticed, the Express has learned.
A parent, whose child attends the nursery and wished to remain anonymous, told the Express: “From what I understand, a child got out of the nursery and was standing on the driveway next to the road. Douglas Collin, a director of the firm, said: “We can confirm that there was an incident at the nursery on Tuesday, June 11.
“We can confirm that since the incident, the nursery has followed the correct protocols and reported itself to all of the relevant bodies and is in direct dialogue with them and with the parents of the child.
