New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has issued an order to state public servants to return to their CBD offices - and stop working from home.

Chris Minns ' stop working from home order is a throwback to the 1950s which can only make things worse for Aussie workers

Chris Mins’ ‘Back to the CBD’ plan is an attempt to drag us all back to the 1950s - and will end up doing damage to human lives .It seems to be an attempt to make the CBD once again a thriving hub of business and leisure activity, with people pouring in and out of the CBD by road and public transport.

And the WFH phenomenon has shown that staff who spend their days at a desk don’t need to leave home to be productive. Time they could spend with their kids, their family. I’ll bet Minns hasn’t thought about the damage to family life his ban on WFH would bring! There are many thousands of workers who have seized on the freedom that WFH technology has given them by selling their Sydney apartments and moving to the Central Coast or to Wollongong or Kiama.Try to imagine how much travelling time the Gosford and Illawarra folk will have each day under Minns’ cruel ban on WFH.Full of free-standing houses with backyards to play in .
