His mother, Wilma, was of Irish descent and married Norris’ father, Ray Dee, who was of Native American descent, in the 1930s. She gave birth to the Walker Texas Ranger star in 1940, followed by his two brothers, Wieland and Aaron, in subsequent years.
‘She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special, often putting the needs of others before her own.’ He continued, movingly depicting his mother’s warmth and kindness: ‘From my earliest memories, she taught me the importance of kindness and compassion. ‘I am so thankful for the countless lessons she shared, the prayers she lifted for us, and the way she embodied the love of Christ every day. ‘We love you, Mom. Until we meet again.
