City officials have officially broken ground on the Vista's at Reed, an affordable housing complex on the far West side of San Antonio . City leaders and Opportunity Home San Antonio celebrated the groundbreaking for the neighborhood called Vista at Reed.
The property is off Reed Road near Culebra on the far West Side and is set to be completed by the Spring of 2025. "Vista at Reed is a great example of vision and collaboration between our city, housing developers, lenders, and nonprofit partners," said City of San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg. “Expanding access to quality affordable housing to our growing community is one of San Antonio's top priorities.”
It'll have 56 two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartment homes along with business, fitness centers, laundry facilities, and fast, reliable internet access. The property will also provide residents with a variety of classes and programs, including ones in art, creative writing, tax preparation, and health and wellness.
