Carly Grant is now calling on East Renfrewshire Council to consider various safety parameters to ensure no one else loses their life on the busy Clarkston Toll.
Residents of Clarkston have launched a petition calling for greater safety measures to be installed at a roundabout in the area following the death of a pedestrian.
The concerned mum told Glasgow LIve: "I've lived in the area for 12 years and it has always been a point in the road people have worried about. "For drivers it is a really busy road, there is also a give a way sign in the middle of the roundabout which can be confusing and adds to the danger. "From a cyclist's point of view it is very dangerous. There needs to be proper signage for the lanes or a double white line to make sure people don't change lanes.
