Classes on all levels, in public and private schools, on Thursday, Jan. 19, will be suspended due to the possible threat of heavy rain brought by the shear line in Camarines Sur province. | MaAprilMierINQ /PDI

In a memorandum on Wednesday, Jan. 18, Governor Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte said the suspension is meant to ensure the safety of students.

In Camarines Norte, the search, rescue and retrieval teams continued their operation to find Alex Toyado and Jomar Alcaide who were declared missing after a fishing boat capsized due to the huge and strong waves on Monday, Jan. 16, at around 11:15 a.m.
