Carrick Rangers bounce back from Crusaders drubbing with excellent performance against Blues
In the aftermath of Carrick Rangers 9-0 defeat to Crusaders last week the last person Stuart King would have been expecting to hear from was the manager of their next opponents.
King admitted he was "down and hurt" following the heavy defeat at Seaview, but Healy's classy actions clearly meant a lot to him. "The first person to ring me on Wednesday morning was David Healy," he said after Carrick's 3-3 draw with Linfield. "It just shows the class of the guy. Other managers sent messages but David was the first person to speak to me at a quarter to eight on Wednesday morning.King was looking for a reaction from his side at Windsor Park and boy did he get it.
