Do you plan to hit the highway this Memorial Day weekend? If so, you better be buckled up. Jonesboro Police are joining the national Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign to catch non-compliant drivers.

Memorial Day is just around the corner, and law enforcement across Arkansas will be out in full force looking for drivers not wearing a seat belt .

“Most of our people will be out looking for seat belt enforcement this weekend, that's something that is really big around Memorial Day,” Jonesboro Police Department Corporal Zach Kaja said. Officers will be stationed across Jonesboro and prepared to issue citations to anyone not wearing a seat belt.
