CLOUDS of dark smoke have poured out of a tenement flat in Uddingston following a fire on Wednesday morning.
Fire crews can be seen at the scene running in and out of the building, and more smoke billows out from the roof.Police confirmed that residents have been evacuated and that the road is closed while emergency services deal with the fire. Those who are impacted can seek help from West of Scotland Housing Association at Park Church on Main Street.
"A number of residents have been evacuated and refreshments are being provided at Park Church, Main Street, where representatives from West of Scotland Housing Association can assist those impacted."Deanbrae Street remains closed at its junctions with Crofthead Street and Watson Street, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
