Coleen Nolan and Ruth Langsford are planning a girls' weekend getaway following their recent separations. Nolan and Langsford offer support to each other amidst their break-ups.
Coleen Nolan has revealed plans for a girls' weekend away with her fellow Loose Women star Ruth Langsford , following their recent break-ups. Last year, Ruth parted ways with Eamonn Holmes after 14 years of marriage, while Coleen ended her relationship with Michael Jones, following three years of romance. The pair's newfound single status has led to Coleen suggesting a girly weekend in her new hometown in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Responding to the suggestion of a singles night out, she told Woman Magazine: 'I think we should! I'm not sure about nights out, but she's gonna spend a weekend with me. 'We're gonna have a girly weekend. I'm going to show her around and take her to the local pub, it'll be fabulous.' Coleen has been a source of support for Ruth, just as she has been for her, following the breakdown of her two marriages. Previously speaking to Bella Magazine, she shared: 'I support her like she supported me when my marriage was not in a good place.' Praising the way her friend handled the split, she also told Woman: 'Ruth and I keep in touch all the time. She's back at work now, which is great because I really missed her. 'I don't want to say too much because it's not my business to say Ruth's life, but what I will say from a friend's point of view is, I've never met anyone that has handled something with so much dignity and pride. 'She's just such a lady, more of a lady then I'll ever be, I would've spilled my guts right now - as I do, that's my problem, I say too much. She's been absolutely amazing, she really has.' Meanwhile, Coleen has attributed her recent split to her hectic schedule and changes in lifestyle, but maintains that she and Michael are still friends. The singer was previously married to actor Shane Richie for nine years, and then to Ray Fensome from 2007 until 2018
