Plans for 12 new homes in Four Crosses near Llanymynech have been met with objections from the local community council. While the principle of building was approved in 2022, the council raises concerns about the relocation of a bus shelter, insufficient parking, lack of open space, and the absence of bungalows in the development.

Detailed plans for a dozen new homes in Four Crosses near Llanymynech have been objected to by the community council .The principle of building the 12 homes was agreed back in November 2022 when an outline planning application was approved by county planners for the “Wychwood Trustees.”

Llandysilio community council had objected to the original outline planning application and have continued to voice their concerns over the development. They say that re-locating the bus shelter would affect other entrances further along the B4393 and will also bring it closer to the junction with the road leading to the “Garage/Morrison’s local” shop.

Planning agents for Dennis Edwards homes, Julian McAlster of Design and Planning Associated Ltd explained the proposal in a design and access statement.
