A court heard Chapman sent the message to a Roxanne Matthews - one of four defendants on trial accused of assisting an offender
Connor Chapman complained that a luxury lodge he stayed in after killing Elle Edwards 'didn’t have my petals or prosecco on ice', a court heard. Ms Edwards, a 26-year-old beautician, died after Chapman opened fire with a Skorpion sub-machine gun outside the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village on Christmas Eve in 2022. Chapman was convicted of her murder in July last year and later jailed for life with a minimum term of 48 years .
She said she had follow up calls to the number given and after five missed calls had a call back from a male using an unknown number who said they needed the high chair. The court later heard Chapman sent a message to Ms Matthews about the service he received at the Penllwyn Lodges. DS Cietak, a Merseyside Police detective sergeant who led the case, told the court: “We see further contact at 12.36pm when Connor Chapman makes a phone call to the Lakeside golf course.
