The entire 127 property estate on the Clayton Triangle – newly christened Lockside Walk – will be completed by Spring 2025
The first new homes on a controversial housing development will be available for occupation by the end of the year.
Lockside Walk is being built by Greater Manchester contractor Watson Homes on behalf of North-West housing association Onward Homes.It will offer a range of affordable housing options – including shared ownership, rent to buy and affordable rent – with 32 apartments designed for over-55s looking to downsize. All homes will have off-road parking and landscaped front and private rear gardens.
“The location is very attractive situated alongside the canal and I know these new energy-efficient affordable homes are very much needed.
