Coronation Street Lisa Swain's wife Becky is said to have died while on duty - but fans have 'worked out' Becky's murderer in a shock twist
Coronation Street fans are convinced they know who killed DS Lisa Swain’s wife, Becky - and it's someone on the famous street. The copper made her debut on the soap back in 2021 - with daughter Betsy appearing for the first time earlier this year. Not much is known about Lisa’s past, apart from that her wife and fellow police officer, Becky died while on duty, leaving her relationship with Betsy strained.
What’s more, due to Joel threatening Lisa’s daughter Betsy, she was taken off the case and has recently been taking a break from her cop-related duties. But in Wednesday’s episode , she was told that she could head back to work next week. Later on though, she was left livid with herself when Besty reminded her that it was Becky’s birthday - with Lisa clearly forgetting. Kicking herself, Lisa then went and drowned her sorrows at the Rovers Return.
