Coronation Street fans are convinced they know what really happened to DS Swain. At the end of tonight's episode, Swain became one of the suspects in Joel's murder when a flashback showed her brandishing a crowbar. Whilst in her bathroom, a number of bruises could be seen on her back and a flashback showed that she confronted someone in a car and tried to stop them whilst brandishing a crowbar.
' A third said: 'She’s been ran over 100% by Joel?!!!!' whilst another wrote: 'Was Lisa attacked by Joel???x.' A fifth added: 'Lisa gets hit/skimmed by a car and she lies to Betsy because that’s how Becky died.' Away from the Joel storyline, things are heating up for DS Swain and Carla. Speaking of why Lisa acts the way she does, Vicky Myers explained: 'She is petrified of opening up.
