Coronation Street bosses have confirmed special flashback scenes will confirm who killed Joel Deering with a number of Weatherfield residents are in the frame for murder
The hunt for a murderer is on in a huge Weatherfield Whodunnit. During Monday night's shock episode of Coronation Street , ITV viewers saw Joel Deering's body surface from a river before a post-mortem revealed that he was in fact dead before he entered the water and this was no suicide. As DC Kit Green announced Joel’s death was now being treated as a murder investigation, fans saw a look of fear cross the faces of a number of Weatherfield residents.
But as the mystery deepens these stylised flashbacks will reveal just how many people are in the frame as we revisit the night of September 27th when Joel went missing, he was not a well liked man. As a number of Coronation Street favourites fall under suspicion, fans will see the suspects highlighted in a crime wall photo.
