Coronation Street favourite Jennie McAlpine has revealed an unexpected fact about her co-star Alan Halsall during a chat on This Morning. Alan, 42, famed for his role as Tyrone Dobbs and currently on I'm A Celebrity, was the topic of conversation when Jennie, who portrays Fiz Brown and is herself a former jungle contestant from 2017, joined This Morning live from the iconic Rovers Return Inn.
Meanwhile, Claire Sweeney, who plays Alan's on-screen mother Cassie Plummer, hinted at more surprises from the actor during her appearance on Good Morning Britain's Friday episode. She commented: 'Isn't he wonderful? I know Maureen Lipman came on here and she said he'll start off quietly just watch and observe and then he'll come forward. That's what he'll do, he's brilliant Alan, he's such a funny guy.
