Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow actress Kate Ford has broken her silence after her character appeared to leave the cobbles on Tuesday night's episode of the ITV soap.
Kate Ford, the actress who portrays Tracy Barlow in Coronation Street, has turned to social media following her character's recent apparent departure from the soap. In the latest episode, viewers saw Tracy bid farewell to her dad Ken Barlow and her daughter Amy Barlow.
Kate, 47, started playing Tracy in 2002 and although she took a short break, she was soon back and has stuck around since. The recent storyline showed Tracy exiting the street to embark on a new chapter of her life with Tommy Orpington in Spain. Meanwhile, Kate posted a selfie on her Instagram with the caption: "Rain, rain, rain". Her 118k followers were quick to comment in hopes that she hadn't really left the show, reports the Mirror.
