Fans of the ITV soap speculate Sarah Platt is set to embark on another romance - and the man at the centre of the potential scandal is a bit too close for home
Coronation Street viewers believe Sarah Platt is about to embark on a sordid affair that will leave her daughter Bethany devastated. During Friday's trip to Weatherfield , Sarah was taken to the police station for questioning by DS Swain . The copper is trying to figure out who is responsible for Lauren Bolton's attack after she was left for dead. Lauren had confirmed abusive Joel Deering is the father of her newborn baby boy but the soap villain has denied any wrongdoing.
Police officer Kit Green was asked by Daniel if the evidence against Nathan was planted as the detective warned him not to accuse anyone of wrongdoing. He later blamed Daniel's girlfriend Bethany for meddling in the case. Later, Daniel also told Daisy Midgeley that he doesn’t trust newcomer Kit and said he is sure that something doesn’t sit right about Nathan’s conviction.
