Tyrone and Evelyn have both been rocked by Cassie’s arrival Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has teased a big twist ahead for on-screen grandmother Evelyn Plummer , following the introduction of her daughter, Cassie . Cassie arrived on the street a number of weeks ago and reunited with mum Evelyn, who took her away to help her get clean from drugs. Their return to the cobbles caused chaos as Cassie revealed her true identity to son Tyrone , leaving Evelyn reeling.
‘And Tyrone then tries to pick up the pieces of the family.’ Cassie has caused her fair share of trouble for Tyrone Though Cassie and Evelyn have a fractured relationship, Tyrone is determined to keep them both in his life, as Alan explained. ‘He’s trying to keep hold of Evelyn and Cassie, and pin them down into being good. I think he’ll struggle with that.’ This will prove a challenging task, with Tyrone set to face doubts along the way, Alan revealed.
