There were dramatic scenes in the ITV soap as Damon followed his brother Harvey's orders
Coronation Street fans were left flocking to social media as they spotted Damon Hay's blunder as he took part in a robbery before being arrested. During the first trip of the week to Weatherfield, viewers of the ITV soap saw it was little Harry's birthday.
Damon had been told by his brother Harvey that he needed to help commit a robbery to keep his partner and her children - Bethany and Harry - safe, and whilst he lied to her and told her it was actually happening next week, he took part in the robbery as Harry's birthday party took place - with disastrous consequences.
But Corrie viewers were confused when he kept his balaclava on as he ran down the road in the same direction as the robbers in the car and were quick to mention it on social media.
