Coronation Street enthusiasts believe they have figured out the next move for character Joel Deering, which could potentially help him evade jail time. The ITV soap's viewers are keen to see the villainous lawyer face justice for his grooming offences.
Since then, Joel has been trying to silence Lauren by secretly keeping her in his flat with promises of a new life in Belfast. However, in a shocking turn of events, Joel was seen administering a drug to the teenager that induced premature labour with their son, Frankie, who is now battling for his life in the hospital.
She confided in her mother about how she helped Joel obtain the pills by calling a private clinic and providing a false name and Dee-Dee's address as instructed by Joel. Despite being questioned again, Joel denied any involvement, believing they lacked evidence to prove his actions.
