A house fire is set to rock Coronation Street next year, with a fans predicted a beloved character will be killed off in the blaze
Corrie fans are speculating that a Platt family member might meet their demise in an upcoming fire stunt on the show.
Residents were reassured not to worry despite the expected noise and visual spectacle. Additionally, they were informed that the production would simulate a house fire, complete with an explosion. They added: "With a new boss at the helm, the show isn't pulling any punches and it's fair to say some fan-favourite lives are on the line.", reports Plymouth Live.
Cast members have been sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the nocturnal filming sessions. Lucy Fallon, who played Bethany Platt, posted a photo alongside Paddy Bever and Julia Goulding , as they kept cosy in warm robes amidst the action.
