Coronation Street aired explosive scenes on Monday as the famous Platt family home was set on fire. The horror blaze started when a mystery person put a rag through the letterbox followed by matches. Within minutes, flames ripped through No.8 Coronation Street leaving lives at risk.
Meanwhile, David had asked ex-convict Andy for help, and he behaved shiftily as he avoided the birthday party of sister Sarah . Elsewhere, Toyah Habeeb discovered Hope Dobbs , Sam Blakeman , Ruby Dobbs and Lily Platt holding a séance at the Platts', and ordered them out. Shona was soon alerted to the fire taking hold, and, terrified that Lily was in the house, she and Max headed inside the burning building with Nick Tilsley , who carried unconscious Toyah onto the street.
