It comes after the Beth Sutherland revealed on social media that there is another job that she does away from the cobbles
Coronation Street star Lisa George has addressed her future on the cobbles as she teased wanting to take on other roles. The actress is best known to fans for playing Beth Sutherland - nee Tinker - in the ITV soap.
But the rest, as they say, is history and Lisa has been portraying Beth in Weatherfield ever since. However, it wasn't the actress' first stint on a soap as she's appeared in Emmerdale as well as Holby City. But playing Beth wasn't even Lisa's first time in Corrie. However, Lisa is currently waiting to find out if she'll be starring in Corrie for a bit longer. The soap star is staying on the cobbles until Christmas but it’s not guaranteed she’ll still be on the soap in 2024 as she told the Daily Star: "I'm just waiting to hear if I get another contract."
"I would love to do Call The Midwife. And I watched Ten Pound Poms and loved it. A role in something like that would be amazing. I’d love to do something like that. I like my vintage dramas and stuff like that, maybe a 1940s drama, more like war stuff."
