Corrie stars say they need to 'up their game' as new actor takes spotlight

As Alina makes her shock return to Coronation Street, she's not alone, as Ruxandra Porojnicu and Alan Halsall joke the 'brilliant' young actor has them needing to 'up their game'

On Wednesday , Coronation Street fans were treated with the long awaited return of Alina Pop, and she wasn't alone.

The arrival of the baby comes with new actor Henry, as Ruxandra Porojnicu, who plays Alina, and Alan Halsall, who plays Tryone, told OK! and other media that the 'brilliant' young actor has them thinking they need to 'up their game'. The pair joke that viewers will definitely know he’s Tyrone’s son, as Alan quips in: “Aside from the fact he's got much better hair than I have!”

Speaking on what Corrie fans can expect from Tryone and his involvement in Dorin's life, Alan says: “A child being involved definitely changes things for Tyrone, because one thing I know about him is that over the years, he’s definitely a family man. He wants to do right by his family and his children,” Alan says.
