Country singer Mickey Guyton looks to score big with ‘House on Fire’

. The singer and her label, Capitol Records Nashville, have announced a Sept. 27 release date. Guyton co-wrote all 12 songs on the record.

The Mansfield High School grad has been looking for her commercial breakthrough since 2011, when she landed her first major label record deal and sang for President Barack Obama at the White House alongside Lyle Lovett and Kris Kristofferson. She racked up tons of acclaim forincluding becoming the first Black female artist to be nominated for a country solo performance Grammy.
