Each glamping pod has stunning views of the vineyard
A Nottinghamshire couple has created a stunning vineyard in the countryside that leaves visitors feeling like they've just been on holiday abroad. In addition to the vineyard tours and wine tasting, the site is also home toRob Kalisiak and his wife Lousie bought the land in Stanton on the Wolds in 2019, and the following year they started work planting the vineyard. He said:"My wife and I went travelling and as part of that we went to Italy as I have family there.
He explained:"We planted the vineyard in 2020 and we managed to get our first harvest last year, so our first wines will be ready in the next month or so which is really exciting. The glamping pods, which start at £125 a night, all have a shared back garden which is fully fenced, as well as a private patio or balcony, and a fire pit. One recent review stated:"Lovely pod with everything you need.
Regarding the feedback they have been getting from visitors and glamping guests, Rob added:"It's been really positive, they have all said they come to enjoy the peace and quiet and they feel they could be in a different country.
