The Liverpool DJ will bring funk and soul to Aintree Racecourse
Liverpool’s Craig Charles is set to bring his funk and soul sound to Randox's Grand National Day at Aintree Racecourse . The Red Rum Garden will be transformed to accommodate the DJ on April 5 once the main event has ended.
Craig will deliver his signature mix of classic and contemporary funk and soul, making it a night to remember. Speaking about the upcoming set, Craig said: “I had a great time at Aintree for Ladies Day back in 2022 and am thrilled to be returning for the big one – Grand National day itself. See you in Red Rum Garden."
Dickon White, regional director of Jockey Club Racecourses North West, said: "We’re delighted to have Craig Charles join us as the headline act in the Red Rum Garden on Grand National Day. Craig’s energy and passion for music align perfectly with the celebratory atmosphere of the Randox Grand National Festival.
