Clutching onto flowers and wiping away tears, crowds turned out to a vigil to remember the victims of the brutal Nottingham attacks on Tuesday evening .
At the same time, emotional crowds, including devastated students, gathered to pay tribute to the victims of the attack at St Peter's Church, as flowers were lay down among lit candles. While many attended in person, a number of mourners attended virtually as the vigil was live-streamed online.
